How to Show File Extensions in Windows
When trying to find out what type of file a file is, it can be quite a slow job, you can choose to group the files by file type; or you could show the file extensions in the file names. This can be handy if looking through a huge folder of documents or images.
Go to your Control panel and double-click on "Folder Options". This should open up a window. Click on the "View" tab and uncheck the box beside "Hide extensions for known file types".

Whilst stumbling, I had found a Compaq FAQ page...
Compaq FAQ: Where do I find the "Any" key on my keyboard? (FAQ2859)
The term "any key" does not refer to a particular key on the keyboard. It simply means to strike any one of the keys on your keyboard or handheld screen.
...that might seem a little silly, but some people might actually find that useful. Actual FAQ page here.
